Obituary
Bradley Glenn Halliday, 65, of Santa Rosa, CA, who knew and loved everyone he ever met, left the world to begin the next step of his journey on Friday, October 26, 2018. As a survivor of the Tubbs Fire, he was a daily beacon of strength for the community and his wife Cynthia. Together they recently made the decision to forego rebuilding, and instead create a new home in the Hollydale community of Forestville, CA. While not yet moved in to “Polly’s Perch”, Brad’s journey could no longer wait. He suffered a heart attack, while enjoying the serenity and beauty of their new community.
Brad was born September 29, 1953 in Oakland, CA to Bob and Hazel Halliday. A lifelong resident of Santa Rosa, he graduated from Montgomery High in 1971. He met the love of his life, Cynthia, two years later on August 13, 1973, and spent the next 45 years, 2 months and 13 days loving her completely.
A lifelong pressman and all things printing expert, Brad found true happiness in his work as the Graphics Coordinator for the Sonoma County Office of Education. He took pride in supporting the administrators, faculty and students of the only county he ever called home. The people of SCOE made his life more full.
Brad spread love everywhere he went, ensuring that everyone he came in contact with left happier for having spent time with him.
Brad is survived by his wife Cynthia Halliday their son, Devin and wife Kimberly Halliday of Pittsburgh, PA; He was “G-pa” to his grandsons Cooper Halliday and Cole Halliday; He was “brother” to his sister Patricia Tedeschi of Santa Rosa, CA and Robert Halliday of Florida; He was “Uncle Bubba” to 7 nieces and 2 nephews; He was Godfather to Kyle and Jesse Kozak; He was a great listener and true friend to countless others.
