There simply isn’t a better way to express the way my dad lived his life than this. I am humbled by the number of people I’ve spoken with in the last two days who left happier for having known my dad. #myhero #lovespreadthatshit

One of my favorite memories of my dad was our many adventures rafting the American River. This trip (circa 1992-ish) was particularly memorable. We hit a pretty rough set of rapids and I was launched from the raft into the river. I was cold AF and scared. My dad, ever calm and collected, reached out and plucked me from the water, back into the raft, like a superhero. He was my hero. He is my hero. I love you dad. I miss you deeply.
